March 2022 was a busy month for Calgary's housing market with 4,107 sales and 5,485 new listings. In fact, March 2022 was the busiest month that Calgary's housing market has ever seen, with the 4,107 sales this month being a record high. The average home price in Calgary for March 2022 was $538,283. That's up 6.5% year-over-year, but is a slight dip from February 2022's average home price of $547,720. However, the Calgary Real Estate Board's Benchmark Price continued to increase this month, rising 18% year-over-year to $518,600.


The average sold price of a condo in Calgary's housing market is now $290,743 for March 2022, which is 11% higher compared to March 2021.

Market Risk

As the Local Market Conditions outlined above, the real estate market has been very different since the beginning of 2021. With the numbers looking to soar things are continuously getting positive for Calgary.
